Pakistan People’s Party-backed member of Sindh’s provincial assembly, Sohrab Sarki has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Thursday.
According to the details, the five members of the MPA’s family have also been diagnosed with the deadly virus and the MPA is currently self-isolating.
The Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), in his statement, said that after being diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, he and other members of his family are self-isolating in their house and following the medical advice on the matter.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier on May 13, two senators have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus during the session of both upper and lower houses of the parliament to discuss the overall situation of the pandemic.
According to the details, the members of the upper house of the Parliament who tested positive included Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Senator Atta Ur Rehman and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senator Fida Muhammad.
