An anonymous donation of Rs1 million was received by Syed Murad Ali Shah—the Chief Minister of Sindh for the Sindh Coronavirus Emergency Fund.
On Monday, the CM Sindh posted a tweet in which he said that he received an anonymous donation made to the Sindh Coronavirus Emergency Fund, along with a letter from the donor of the Rs1 million donation.
“Such acts of kindness strengthen our resolve to continue fighting this challenge, & reassure us that humanity stands tall during such extraordinary times!” he posted a tweet containing the images of a letter and the cheque.
The donor of the huge donation wrote in the letter, “I am a retired person of 88 years. In response to your appeal, I submit herewith a cheque of a humble amount in face of unheard and dreadful epidemic.”
