Amal ambulance service is not planning on shutting down, rather is suspending its services temporarily.
Murtaza Wahab Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister for law, Environment and Coastal Development Barrister gave a denial to all the reports regarding the Sindh government’s plan to shut down the Amal ambulance service.
While talking to media, he said that there are no plans to shut down Amal ambulance service hence the government is providing a bailout package to the ambulance service as it was provided previously in 2018.
A précis of funds has been sent to Murad Ali Shah Chief Minister Sindh for this concern.
Aman Healthcare Services are the only ones noted to operate the only fleet of the lifesaving ambulances in different parts of Sindh and in Karachi. This ambulance service has been awarded the Asian Emergency Medical Service Award in 2014.
As per the latest development, the Durust Daam app had been inaugurated by the federal minister IT. He said that the app has been launched with the objective of transparency and good governance.
