On Friday, the national anthem and Kashmir anthem will be sung and sirens will boom to mark the Kashmir hour. Following the inhumane act by India of locking down the occupied valley, Pakistan has taken the initiative to observe ‘Kashmir Hour’ every week on Friday.
It is important that the Pakistani public especially youth participates in it, as appealed by the Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor.
On August 30th, at 12pm the ‘Kashmir Hour’ will be observed.
In a conference held to discuss Defence and Martyrs Day 2019 ceremonies, Maj-Gen Ghafoor said, “Sirens will also be blared for Kashmir Hour.”
Earlier, Imran Khan in his first address to the nation after India revoked the special status of IOK announced that Pakistan will observe Kashmir Hour every Friday from 12 to 12:30 pm.
Imran Khan said, “They (India) have played their trump card, they don’t have any card to play now. Now whatever needs to be done will be done by us and the world.”
