The Hajj Policy 2019 has been approved by the Federal Cabinet. Religious Ministry has been directed to provide best facilities to the people intending to perform Hajj this year through the Government Hajj Scheme.
Federal Cabinet, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain briefed the media about the Hajj Policy and said that the Hajj package for Southern and Northern regions this year will cost Rs 4,26,575 and Rs 4,36,575 respectively.
Amazingly, for the first time ever pilgrims from Balochistan will be airlifted directly from Quetta. Also in Gilgit, a temporary Haji camp is being developed to facilitate the pilgrims intending to perform Hajj in 2019.
184,210 Pakistanis will perform Hajj in 2019. For senior citizens 10,000 seats have been reserved. They will get their seats in Government Hajj Scheme without Balloting. Also 1.5% quota is reserved to adjust the hardship cases.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national flag carrier of Pakistan would start the operations from Quetta and Faisalabad.
Earlier we informed our readers that Rs 100,000 price increase has been suggested by the Ministry of Religious in the new Hajj policy 2019. The increase would be effected after the approval by the federal cabinet.
