Ali Zafar Will Not Judge Pepsi Battle of the Bands – New Judges Revealed

After the Ali Zafar-Meesha Shafi controversy new judges have been announced for Pepsi Battle of the Bands upcoming season.

Fawad Khan, Meesha Shafi, and Shahi Hasan are part of the new season from last year. They will be joined by Strings Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood who will be replacing Atif Aslam in this season.

Pepsi has not officially announced anything but as per the reports Ali Zafar who was signed up to judge the season will not be a part of it anymore. After Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment, he has been removed from the judge’s panel of the show.

The filming of the new season has started. Strings being part of the season is quite a good sign. With so much experience, Strings will be able to guide the youngsters & train them further.

Strings produced Coke Studio for four years and now they have bid farewell to Coke Studio. Bilal and Faisal are now working on their new singles. And to the fans delight, they will be the judges of Pepsi Battle of the Bands along with Fawad Khan, Meesha Shafi and Shahi Hasan.

It is pertinent to mention here that in a statement on Twitter on the 19th of April, Thursday, Meeha Shafi tweeted accusing Ali Zafar of sexually harassing her on multiple occasions. Ali Zafar responded to the tweet saying that he never sexually harassed and the matter will be dealt in court. Since then Zafar has sent a rupees hundred crore defamation notice to Meesha Shafi.

Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Panosta legal advisor of Shafi confirmed the receipt of the legal notice, sent by Ali Zafar, however, he dispelled its contents in entirety, as being false.
