Ali Zafar to Serve as the First Ambassador of Pakistan’s First Knowledge City

PM Khan has appointed actor and singer Ali Zafar as the ambassador of the National Knowledge City. Knowledge City is a center of academic excellence for the marginalized population living in the remote areas of Pakistan.

As per the shared details, Ali Zafar tweeted that he is honored to be chosen as the ambassador to the first and the biggest knowledge city of the country.

The celebrity singer said that knowledge plays a significant role in the development of a nation and society.

PM Khan, on Saturday, performed a groundbreaking ceremony of the National Knowledge City Phase 1 in Mianwali.

While addressing the ceremony, Ali Zafar emphasized the availability of affordable and quality higher education options for the talented youth of the country. He stressed that good education lays the foundation for a progressive and tolerant society.

PM Khan was provided a briefing that after the first phase of the venture completes, more than ten thousand students who belong to the less privileged areas would take advantage of the Knowledge City.

As per the shared project details, it was informed that it would be environment friendly and would have a state of the art green structure.

Prime Minister in his address shared his desire to transform the institute into a renowned center of excellence internationally.
