There was speculation last year that Norri the known Pakistani rock band will produce Coke Studio Season 11. But soon all the rumors died down. When Strings Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood, the previous producers of Coke Studio, left the mega music platform, the next question was who will now produce the next season of coke studio?
Now it has been confirmed that Coke Studio Season 11 will be single-handedly produced by Ali Hamza, who is one of the band members of Noori.
As per a source, “Hamza will be producing the Coke Studio now. Ali Noor is busy with some of his own projects and will not be able to give time to Coke Studio but Hamza will be taking care of business.”
There were a lot of rumors last year about who will be the next in charge of Coke Studio after the resignation of Strings. Fans expressed their wish on Twitter, wanting Noori to take over Coke Studio. It was revealed in 2016 that Noori will take over strings but when the manager of Noori was asked he denied the rumors saying, “The rumors are false. Noor and Hamza are not involved in producing Coke Studio 11 as of yet.”
After the end of Season 10, Strings bade farewell to Coke Studio expressing their gratitude towards the amazing musical journey.
A statement by Strings read, “Coke Studio Season 10 will be the last season produced by Strings. It has been a fantastic journey for us over the course of four seasons and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and share our work with all of you. 2018 will mark 30 years of Strings and we are super excited to celebrate with all of you. So stay tuned for more updates as we embark on yet another exciting chapter in our musical journey!”
