According to police sources the airspace will closed, mobile services will be partially suspended and the main traffic routes will be closed in the twin cities of Pakistan.
During the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman over the weekend, security will be on high alert and thus airspace & main roads will be closed for public. The crown prince is visiting Islamabad on 16th and 17th February at the invitation of PM Imran Khan.
The Crown Prince will be accompanied by the royal family members, important ministers and leading businessmen. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will sign different agreements and MoUs related to finance, power, investment, energy, media, culture, sports etc.
Also the crown prince will be the first guest of the state to stay at the PM House, as per the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry. The security of the prince along with the Pak officials will guard PM House during his visit.
1000 check points will be set up during the visit in the twin cities and heavy traffic will be barred from the main routes of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The metro bus service will only remain open for areas in Rawalpindi.
The sources further states that , shoot-on-sight orders have been given for drones and other aviation toys controlled by remote.
Different routes in Islamabad will be shutdown or divered to alternate routes including the Islamabad Expressway, Koral Chowk to Faisal Avenue route, Murree Road, and Shahrah-i-Dastoor.
