AirSial to Begin Flight Operations from 2020

AirSial has made the announcement that it would be starting its domestic flight operations on a commercial basis from next year in May, as per sources.

The management of the airline has directed to acquire three A-320 aircraft, on a dry lease which are to reach in the months to come, whereas the required staff has already been hired for the purpose of giving training and capacity building.

The flight operations would be based in Sialkot majorly and would be connecting it with the major airports of Pakistan like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and the provincial capitals including Peshawar and Quetta.

The flights would be operated on a weekly basis from the respective stations and then the flight frequency would be boosted as per demand on the particular route.

Manager Operations Control at AirSial—Abdul Gulzar Hussain said that the private national airline has attained the needed permission from the aviation authority for operating the commercial flights on domestic routes.

The airline would be starting its international flight operations a year after introducing the domestic operations, which is its actual plan to expand its wings to the international destinations and take advantage of the local economy especially based in Sialkot.

The preferred choice for international flights would be the Middle East whereas the rest of the world would be searched later in accordance with the business demand.

The airline claims that it would give tough competition to the different domestic airlines in terms of the airfares and the quality of services to the passengers.

The airline is supported by the airport with advanced facilities and runway in Sialkot.

The airport and also the airline is owned by the businessmen and traders of Sialkot who are setting a new precedent to develop themselves solely, without getting to depend on the government for achieving their goals and successes.
