Airline Tickets to Get Expensive from Nov 1st

It has been announced by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) that the embarkation fee and airport charges will increase from Nov 1st. Airline Tickets will get expensive from Nov 1st

Rs.2800 will be charged by the aviation authority as airport charges for travelers traveling abroad. Foreign nationals will be allowed to pay in dollars i.e. $20 dollars each.

Earlier, the charges varied at different airports of Pakistan. But, under the new rule, the same charges will be applied to all national airports.

Similarly, the embarkation fee for the economy class has been increased to Rs. 2,000 and for business class, it has been hiked to Rs. 3,000. This amount will be uniformly collected at all the airports.

Even if you have made an advanced booking, this decision will be applicable to all the passengers from Nov 1st.

Furthermore, once the new aviation policy is implicated, the aeronautical charges for international flights will be raised by 10%. Likewise, the landing charges have been increased by 25 percent during peak hours.

All in all the general public should be prepared to suffer more. Prices have been increasing of all goods & commodities and now airport charges have also increased. Those who were planning to travel starting from Nov 1st would have to pay more.
