Airblue has introduced a new flight route between Peshawar and Sharjah. The opening flight PA-612, between the 2 cities, flew on Tuesday. The return flight PA-613 was scheduled for yesterday.
Faheem Hamid—the Director Sales Airblue was present at the Peshawar Airport to see off the passengers of the opening flight. They were attended by Sohail Sheikh at the Sharjah airport.
The commuters of the first flight were also given giveaways.
The flight PA-612 would be flying every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 am and would be reaching the destination at 11:30 pm. The return flights of the route (PA-613) would operate the next day at 4:45 am and would arrive at 9am at the Bacha Khan Airport—Peshawar.
The addition of the new route for Airblue means more competition for the national flag carrier—Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) that offers 2 bi-weekly flights for the same route.
The national flag carrier flies between the two cities on Sunday and Thursday while the Air Arabia’s low-cost flight provides daily flights on this route.
