The prices of air tickets will go down under the new National Aviation Policy. The validity period of the new policy will be extended to five years from one year for the licenses issued by the Aviation Division.
The new policy will also raise the number of tourists visiting Pakistan, thus giving a boost to tourism.
Under the new policy, an official of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that affordable air tickets will be available for the local flights. Also due to the reduction in license fee charged by the Aviation division new opportunities will open up.
The official also said that the new policy will benefit the tourist market as well. The authorities have encouraged the establishment of new private airline companies.
It is expected that the Federal Secretary Aviation Division Shahrukh Nusrat will inform about other details regarding the new aviation policy.
A month ago, the new aviation policy 2019 was approved by the federal cabinet in a meeting that was led by the Prime Minister Imran Khan. The policy will be beginning of a new Fair Sky aviation policy and bring an end of the open sky policy for the Pakistan Aviation.
