Earlier we informed our readers that British Airways is resuming flight operations in Pakistan. It wwill be restarting operations in Pakistan after years in June, 2019. Well, now, Air France is also planning to return to Pakistan and resume operations after 11 years.
Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ghulam Sarwar Khan revealed this development. The minister said that many foreign investors that left Pakistan due to weakened law and order condition are returning back. The improved business environment has attracted the investors to again invest in Pakistani market.
Praising the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Mr. Ghulam Sarwar said that a peaceful, secure environment has been created in Pakistan.
While briefing the media he said, “It stands ready to be a hub of commerce, trade, and foreign investment. A major step in this direction is the overhauling of the visa regime wherein nationals of more than 50 countries would be given visa on arrival.”
Furthermore Sarwar Khan lauded PM’s efforts to bring in investment and aid in billions from friendly nations including the United Arab Emirates, China, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saudi Crown Prince is visiting Pakistan on a two day visit and it is expected that he will make a huge, probably biggest ever investment in the country.
