AIOU Decides to Provide Free Matric Education to Balochistan and GB Students

Earlier today, the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) decided to provide free matric education to the students coming from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and other combined districts in the KPK province.

According to the reports, all those students who wish to register themselves in the free education program can apply for admission in the spring semester of 2021. Just like last year, the admissions for the matric classes will begin from January 15th, 2021 and the students will be entertained till February 20th.

Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum Vice-Chancellor while discussing the AIOU’s undertakings for the academic year 2021 said that all those students which are applying for the free matric program will get great benefits from it hopefully.

On the other hand, the varsity also continues providing free education to all the neglected areas of the society which includes; prisoners, dropouts, transgenders, and disabled people.

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) hopes to provide educational facilities to all under-developed societies of the country. It further aims to enroll the maximum number of students within the academic net.
