Shahid Afridi—the Pakistani star all-rounder has recently voiced his opinion in support of the upcoming Super Kabaddi League—which is to start from the 2nd of May in Lahore.
While conversing about the upcoming league, Afridi extended his best of wishes to Shehzad Roy—the singer cum social worker and the owner of the Kashmir Jaanbaaz for the upcoming matches.
Shahid Afridi the most loved cricket celebrity of the nation expressed his wish to have a duel with Shehzad Roy.
The all-rounder took it to his social media platform and tweeted that he wishes good luck to Shehzad Roy and his team for the upcoming matches in the Super Kabaddi League. He went on to say that “Roy bro lets have one Kabaddi match together”.

On the other hand, Shehzad Roy applauded Afridi’s support and encouragement but was not that keen on the suggestion of the duel. He tweeted that he could play the Kabaddi match but then who would be looking after his wife and kids.

The Super Kabaddi League’s inaugural edition it to be hosted by the Strawberry sports’ management company which is to be played in the month of May 2018.
As per officials, the Kabaddi would be played between franchised based teams representing various cities of Pakistan and the team selection would be done via the draft.
The opening ceremony of the league would be held in Lahore on the 1st of May and the matches would be played from 2nd May to the 10th of May.
Organisers are hoping to feature players from at least ten other nations in the tournament while the players from Iraq, Sri Lanka, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia and Bangladesh have already confirmed regarding their participation in the league.
Eight franchises representing cities of Multan, Gwadar, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Gujrat, Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi would be featuring in the inaugural edition of the Super Kabaddi League.
