Aamir Liaquat to Host Ramazan Show on PTV

Aamir Liaquat—who is now a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA would be hosting a Ramazan transmission this year on PTV, as per the reports of APP on Wednesday.

The government managed news agency cited the doctor, cum host, cum politician that he would be hosting a Ramazan transmission this year on PTV global, home, news and world.

Aamir Liaquat had previously hosted many Ramazan transmissions for different channels in the past.

He was accused of hate speech in the past and faced the anger of the Supreme Court. Back in the month of December last year, the top court accepted his unconditional apology in a contempt case.

He was warned of not repeating the offense in which he made use of hate speech and derogatory language against people, inducing the media personalities.

The case was started against him for not fulfilling his earlier made promises of avoiding using hate speech again.

The 3-member bench headed by the ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan—Mian Saqib Nisar had given the order to Liaquat for tendering an unconditional apology in the case.

While he was offering his apology, the CJP remarked that PTI MNA did not seem much apologetic, to which Liaquat responded that he would give up on his right to apologize if he would make the mistake again.
