A three-year-old girl has lost her life after getting infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) late Monday night in Sindh’s capital city Karachi.
According to the details shared by her parents, the minor was brought to Karachi city from Hyderabad after her condition became serious. As per the details, the three-year-old minor was under medical treatment at the National Incubation Centre in Karachi.
The management of the National Incubation Centre said that the minor was provided with all the medical facilities available and even put on a ventilator. She, however, could not survive and succumbed to the disease.
While sharing the details about the medical history of the minor, the doctors said that she also had some genetic disease.
It is pertinent to mention here that that so far more than 12,000 people so far have been infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Sindh only.
After witnessing an increase in the number of the coronavirus cases in the country, Pakistan has become the 20th most-affected country from the novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed cases in Pakistan has crossed the figure of 30,000.
