It has been reported that a special flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has landed at the Islamabad International Airport with 254 Pakistani nationals stranded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to the details, a special flight of the national airline No-702 with 254 passengers onboard landed at the airport in the federal capital of Islamabad took off from the Saudi capital city Riyadh.
Upon their arrival, all the passengers were screened and checked by a team of the doctors at the Islamabad airport due to the coronavirus fears.
The details said that that all the 254 passengers have been moved to the quarantine facility and their samples for the coronavirus tests have been taken by the health officials.
The passengers will be allowed to go to their homes only when they test negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
A day earlier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been allowed to operate the direct flights to the United States (US) to bring the stranded countrymen in the US.
As per the details, the permission was granted by the Transport Department of the United States on the request made by Pakistan to repatriate its stranded nationals in the US.
