A rickshaw driver in Peshawar, gives free rides to the students.
An auto-rickshaw driver named—Arab Shah, from the Peshawar city has been providing free rides to schoolgirls since the past 6 years.
He picks and drops up more than a hundred children in his green coloured rickshaw. The costs incurred for providing this free transportation on a per day basis is Rs.400.
Shah said that he wants to see more girls getting an education. He added that his objective is just to see them reach home safely.
All the school going children call him “Bhai Jaan”, which in simple English means dear brother.
A student said that they go and come back from their school without spending a single penny. And for this free transportation, all thanks goes to Arab Shah.
Shah has the wish of buying more rickshaws so that he could bring smiles on many more faces.
The world is full of people like Arab Shah, who live to serve others. He is a common man but the activity this man performs on a daily basis is not common.
Sacrificing oneself and one’s resources for serving others is indeed something big—something noble and no matter how much we applaud or appreciate; justice could not be done.
