A petition has been filed in the Lahore’s civil court seeking a ban on the last episode of Pakistan’s one of the most popular dramas ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’.
According to the details, the petition was filed by a woman identified as Maham. She filed the petition through her lawyer and plea to halt the last episode of the drama.
In her petition, she took the stance that the drama called ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ had put a negative impact on the women of the country as it continued to downgrade them in the society.
After hearing the arguments of the petitioner, the civil court of Lahore had issued the notices to the concerned and order to appear on the next hearing of the petition on January 24, 2020.
It is pertinent to mention here that the last episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho—featuring Ayeza Khan, Humayun Saeed, Hira Mani, Adnan Siddiqui and others— is set to be aired in cinemas on January 25, 2020.
The last and final episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho is set to be exhibit in cinemas across Pakistan for at least a week. On television screens, viewers would be able to view the drama on 25th January and then later on it will be available on YouTube and other digital platforms.
