A Pakistani to Conduct Toss for FIFA World Cup Match 2018

A Pakistani will conduct the toss for FIFA World Cup match. 15-year old Ahmed Raza is all set to become part of FIFA World Cup 2018 that is being held in Russia. Representing Pakistan, Raza will conduct the toss for the match between Brazil and Costa Rica. The match will be held on Friday, June 22nd. The coin toss will take place at 4:45pm (PST).

Ahmed, belonging to Sialkot is a passionate football lover and a fan of Neymar Jr and the Brazilian football team. The three generations of Raza’s family were involved in stitching footballs for the professional football tournaments including FIFA World Cup.

It is pertinent to mention here that Coca-Cola has partnered with Academy Award-winning film-maker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy to document the journey of Ahmed starting from Sialkot and the biggest football tournament in the world.

Earlier we informed our readers that the flag of Pakistan was waved at FIFA World Cup 2018 opening ceremony by Sarang Baloch. Baloch waved Pakistan’s flag at the opening ceremony in Moscow, Russia. He is an aspiring footballer from Dera Ismail Khan. Baloch said, “It is an honour for me to be Pakistan’s flag-bearer at the mega-event.”
