A man arrested for transporting drugs, supplying them to students in twin cities

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested a man identified as Gul Badin on Wednesday for transporting drugs from one province of the country to another and supplying them to the students.

According to the details shared by the police department, Gul Badin used to buy drugs from Quetta and then supplied the drugs in large quantities to the multiple areas in the federal capital of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

As per the details, Badin was arrested by the Golra Police. An official of the Islamabad Police said that he had been heading a gang that was involved in the smuggling drugs. The police officials have seized 17 kilograms of hashish from his possession.

According to the statement issued by the DSP Khalid Awan, Badin used to supply the drugs to the students of the different universities in the twin cities. He further added that he got his supply from different cities of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The police have registered a case against him and further investigations are underway to arrest other members of his gang involved in the drug smuggling.
