The national airline has started its operations to repatriate Pakistani nationals stranded in the Unites States (US).
According to the details, the first special flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying 200 Pakistani citizens has departed from Washington, United States (US) for Pakistan.
Asad Amjad—the Pakistani Envoy in the United States had inspected all the arrangements at the airport in Washington and extended his best wishes to the Pakistani nationals returning to their homes.
According to the schedule shared by the authorities of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), another special flight of the national carrier flag carrying 150 Pakistani students will leave for Pakistan tomorrow from the United States (US).
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was allowed by the US authorities to operate direct flights to the United States of America to bring the stranded Pakistani nationals back to the country.
According to the details, the permission was granted by the Transport Department of the United States (US) on Pakistan’s request to repatriate its stranded citizens in the United States of America.
