A 16-year-old boy dies of cardiac arrest while playing online mobile game PUBG

It has been reported that a 16-year-old boy died of cardiac arrested while playing a highly popular online mobile game PUBG.

According to the details, the boy was playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) on his mobile phone for six hours at a stretch in Erode city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The family members of the deceased, identified as Satish Kumar, said that he became agitated and began shouting before collapsing on the floor. Satish has been engrossed in playing the game on his smartphone for six hours, the family members added.

According to the details shared by the family, the 12-grade student started playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) game after having the lunch and kept playing it until the evening without any break.

After the unfortunate incident, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

A cardiologist who examined the medical condition of the deceases said that the boy was brought to the hospital in no time and they tried their level best to revive him but he could not survive.

The doctor appealed to children to stay away from the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) game because extreme excitement the game causes could lead to cardiac failure resulting in death.
