Eid-ul-Fitr 2018 holidays have been announced by the federal government of Pakistan from June 14th to June 18th. The interior ministry has announced 5-day Eid holidays to the private and government workers as per media reports.
The federal interior ministry has developed a summary for Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. The caretaker government will officially issue a notification regarding the Eid Holidays.
Furthermore Met office has made a prediction that there are fewer chances for Shawwal moon to be sighted on 14th June, predicting that chances are that is sighted on 30 Ramadan. But an Arab astronomer has said that Eid ul Fitr this year will fall on 15th June so there is no surety yet.
Met Office has sent prediction relating to Eid & Ramadan days and age of Shawwal crescent to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
As per Met Office, the Shawwal crescent will be born on 14th June at 12:45 am. The crescent will be seen for 39 minutes in the sky after sunset.
If the moon is sighted on 29 Ramadan, Eid will be on June 15th otherwise it will be on June 16th, 2018.
