Gallup & Gilani Pakistan carried out a Gilani Research Foundation Survey regarding the India-Pakistan relations condition after the Pulwama attack.
According to 44% of the people, Pakistan will use its atomic weapons if war requires it. However 41% do not believe this, they feel that Pakistan will not use its nuclear weaponry.
A sample was taken of men, women nationwide from all the four provinces. The question they were asked was, “Will Pakistan use its atomic weapons or not?” 44% of Pakistanis feel that yes Pakistan will use its atomic weapons, 41% believe that Pakistan will not while 15% did not respond or they didn’t know the answer.
It is pertinent to mention here that post-Pulwama attack, India violated Pakistan’s airspace and tensions between India and Pakistan escalated.
Pakistan Airspace was closed for days due to the escalation in tensions with India. Even though flight operations have resumed in the airports, the transit flights in a few airports remain closed.
Even though Pakistan’s Prime Minister handled the situation tactfully, the response by India was so negative that both the countries got on the verge of war.
