41 Pakistani nationals repatriated from India through Wagah border

The Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi, India said that a total of 41 Pakistani nationals stranded in India were repatriated back home safely.

As per the details, the Pakistani citizens were stranded in the neighboring country India after the closure of the Attari-Wagah border due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

According to the details shared by the high commission, the Pakistani nationals had traveled to the neighboring country on different visas — including visit, pilgrimage, and medical — and had been stuck in different cities of India including Agra, New Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab.

The Pakistani high commission further said that it had closely followed up and coordinated with the government of India, as well as the relevant stakeholders in Pakistan for early repatriation of the stranded Pakistani nationals in India.
