On Thursday, four more educational institutes have been sealed in the capital city after the detection of the coronavirus cases among the staff members and the students.
As per the available reports, the officials said that 7 positive cases of the virus were reported from the 4 educational institutions.
3 private schools, located one each in G-15, H-8, and DHA, and a college located in G-10 were sealed on the orders of the deputy commissioner Islamabad until further directives.
The area police were positioned in the institutes in order to control the entry into the premises of these institutions. The count of the sealed schools and colleges in the federal capital has reached 31, as informed by the officials. They further added that 73 cases were reported from these institutes.
In the meantime, there are one hundred and fifty-five confirmed coronavirus cases that have been reported in Islamabad on Thursday. The daily count of the confirmed cases has crossed 150 after the 2nd of July when one hundred and seventy cases were reported. Since then the per day count of the cases had remained under one hundred and seventeen.
The reported 155 cases surfaced out of the 4.832 tests that were conducted in the city.
As per the officials, the areas where these cases have been reported includes Tarlai, F-6, Bhara Kahu, I-8, F-10, G-7, G-11, G-10, Chak Shahzad, PWD, G-9, G-6, F-11, DHA II, Ghouri Town, G-8, G-16, F-8, Bahria Town, Pims, G-13, Bahria Enclave, I-10, H-12, G-5, Banigala, Saidpur village, Margalla Town, Jinnah Garden, Korng Town, National Police Foundation, Soan Garden, River Garden, E-7, E-9, F-5, F-7, G-15, I-12, British Homes, and Jhangi Syedan.
