38 officials of Indian High Commission leave Pakistan after diplomatic conflict

As many as 38 officials of the Indian High Commission in Pakistan left for India on Wednesday.

According to the details, the officials of the India High Commission left for India due to a recent blow to the deteriorating diplomatic ties between the two nuclear-armed neighboring countries.

The diplomatic officials told the media that the 38 officials of the Indian High Commission went back to their country through the Wagah-Attari border.

It is pertinent to mention here that the relations between Islamabad and New Delhi became more strained after two Indian diplomats were caught trying to escape from a hit-and-run incident in Islamabad last month.

Right after the incident, the reports have emerged that the authorities in India are harassing the officials of the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi.

The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said earlier that the neighboring country India will be repaid in the same coin and also asked to reduce its diplomatic staff in Islamabad.
