According to the data shared by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), nearly 365,000 people have been registered for the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in a month and a half.
The spokesperson of NADRA said that 365,000 people of Pakistan have registered themselves for the housing scheme since July 15 through the online registration process launched by the NADRA.
“At least 7,500 e-facility centres of NADRA are providing information of the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme to the people,” he added.

The NADRA spokesperson further said that besides, three special camps have been set up at Raiwind, Chuhng and Ferozepur Road for awareness and registration of citizens for the housing programme.
The PTI-led federal government of Pakistan has launched a housing project for the people of Pakistan. The housing scheme aims to provide at least five million housing units to the low-income population.
According to Prime Minister Imran Khan, the housing project will also directly benefit the forty different industries of Pakistan related to the construction business.
