A new 3-member committee has been formed to keep track of air service agreements between Pakistan and other countries. The committee will be leading consultations with PIA and private airlines to keep the track and everyone in the loop.
The first meeting will be held on January 20 at 9:30 am in the office of Senior Joint Secretary of Aviation Division in Islamabad to discuss the air service agreements.
It is informed that the committee is composed of the PIA chief commercial officer, director air transport, and senior joint secretary of the Aviation Division.
The committee will also discuss matters related to agreements and MoUs signed with other countries in addition to holding consultation for the requirements of the necessary amendment.
It is further said that the meeting will also include reviewing on traffic rights in light of the agreements with foreign countries.
