ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to give a three-day holiday for the government employees on Eid-ul-Adha. According to sources, the government has decided to give only 3 days’ leave for Eid-ul-Adha. According to the details, public holidays will be Friday, July 31, Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2.
According to government sources, no additional holidays will be given to prevent unnecessary travel, but the decision has been taken to implement the Corona epidemic prevention KSOPs.
All the employees have to return to their respective jobs on the 3rd day of Eid. The government had previously indicated that it would only give a holiday for Friday apart from the normal Saturday and Sunday offs if the Eid day falls on Friday. It is still a one day extra off which is on Friday along with Saturday and Sunday weekend, the employees will not get any extra holidays and return to their positions on the third day of Eid.
