Under the launched Kamyab Jawan Programme, 25percent of the loans have been reserved for the women.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan launched a Kamyab Jawan Programme, which will provide soft loans to those people who are unemployed in order to help them in having a start-up and some other self-employment opportunity.
This programme is expected to benefit directly almost 52percent of the Pakistani population.
25percent loans have already been reserved by for the young women entrepreneurs.
Expectations say that the Kamyab Jawan Programme will help 1 million youth.
Pakistan has got a greater population of youth. This programme is directed at making these young individuals economically empowered.
Usman Dar Special Adviser to the Prime Minister said that 259,767 online loan applications have been received so far under this programme.
He also said while talking to the media that the loan would be provided to the youth on a merit basis. No Political affiliation or reference is required.
All Pakistanis, even if they are the government employees aged from 21-45 years are applicable to apply for the loan programme.
Recently, cyber-attacks were noticed in the loan programme’s digital portal somehow from the Indian attackers.
