In the past 24 hours, Pakistan has reported 2,208 new COVID-19 cases and 37 death. The stats were shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
The overall cases in the country have not reached 363,380, whereas, the active cases stood at 30,362. The total death account is not 7,193.
During the past 24-hours, a total of 38,544 tests were conducted across the country. Whereas, 325,788 people have recovered so far.
Taking immediate actions in this regard and the rise of coronavirus cases, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government had decided to impose a complete lockdown for a fortnight starting November 21.
It is also mentioned that there would be a complete lockdown in all AJK districts. The will be a ban on weddings and other gatherings. and schools and businesses will remain shut.
The AJK government also announced to implement strict screening at the entry points of the region. The government offices will observe a 50% attendance while the rest would work from home.
