Atlas Honda has launched Honda CR-V in Pakistan. To be clear CR-V means Compact Recreational Vehicle. Honda CR-V was once known as a compact crossover but now its more of an SUV.
Honda started the production of Honda CR-V in 1995. In the USA the car is very popular as 4 million units of the car have been sold in the country. Now of the 4th generation Honda CR-V, Honda at an average sells 300,000 units a year. Now that the car has launched in Pakistan, we can expect more expansion & further boost in the sales of CR-V.
Honda Atlas has launched 2.0L, inline-4, i-VTEC engine with a single overhead cam, 16-valve unit that makes around 150 BHP. Via a continuously variable transmission the engine of the car powers the front two wheels.
CR-V has McPherson struts in the front while in the rear it has an independent multi-link. The alloy wheels are 17-inch and they come with 235/65 tires. Both in the front and back the car has ventilated disks
The interior of the car has electronically adjustable 8-way power driver’s seat and 4-way power passenger’s seat. The car also has paddle shifters. Coming to the material of the seats, it is leather.
Honda CR-V has 8 speakers. Four of them are in the front, two are in the back and two tweeters. Dual-zone Climate control option is available along with rear ventilation. Other than this many safety features are part of this newly launched car including Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, Anti-Lock Brakes, Electronic Brakeforce distribution and much more.
The amazing features of the cars do come at a price. So now we come to the price of the car. Honda CR-V price in Pakistan is PKR 9,500,000 (ex-factory). Yes, it is really expensive, not at all affordable but for those who prefer a reliable car with different safety features along with comfort, this is the car for you.
