200 MT of Fish Cargo Left Gwadar Port to Reach China – the news was shared in a tweet from Advisor to PM for Commerce and Industries.

Under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce & Pakistan Customs, the first cargo of fish left the Gwadar Port for China. The cargo contained some 200 metric tons (MT) of fish.

According to this source, this initiative is taken under the guidance of prime minister Imran Khan.

Mr. Adul Razak Dawood, Advisor to PM for Commerce and Industries, joyfully conveyed this message over a tweet and said:

The fish has been trans-shipped to China in 8 reefer containers. This will hopefully be the encouraging beginning of our trans-shipment policy & will increase Gwadar Port operations. I wish to appreciate Pakistan Customs in making the first trial run successful,

Earlier, it was also mentioned that exports to the UK in October also witnessed a boom as compared to that of the same month of the last year.
