2 passengers off-loaded from Sharjah Bound Flight after testing positive for COVID-19

On Sunday, 2 passengers from a Sharjah-bound flight from Multan International airport were off-loaded as they tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As per the reports, both the passengers belonging to Dera Ghazi Khan (DG) Khan were going to Sharjah, but after testing positive for coronavirus, both the passengers were off-loaded from the flight.

Previously in May, a pilot and 3 flight attendants of PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) who were performing duties on a special flight operated between from Australia’s Melbourne to Lahore, were detected with coronavirus.

In the same way, one more pilot of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and 3 flight attendants tested positive for coronavirus one week ago after returning from the Lahore-bound special flight from Australia.

The crew members and the pilot of the national flag carrier were waiting for their coronavirus test reports for one week and after the results came, they were all shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore.

Shakil Akram First Flight Officer of the PIA flight was shifted to the Military hospital and along with him Flight attendants; Waqar Farooqui, Sofia Shaikh and Ahmed Ammad were also shifted to the Combined Military Hospital Lahore.
