2 International Players to miss PSL Playoffs


Earlier today, news came out that two international players have been ruled out from the PSL playoffs as they tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

According to the details, Multan Sultans’ all-rounder, Mahmudullah Riyad, has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League 2020 playoffs after the all-rounder tested positive for coronavirus in the pre-departure test that was conducted in Bangladesh. Multan Sultans may now choose a local or foreign player as a substitute.

Multan Sultans are yet to announce a replacement for the Bangladesh star.

In the meantime, Liam Livingstone has also been replaced by Saqib Mahmood in the Peshawar Zalmi squad for the Pakistan Super League 2020 playoffs.

The replacement has been made after Livingstone became unreachable following his selection in England’s ODI squad for the South Africa tour.

PSL playoffs are set to recommence from the 14th of November in Karachi with all 4 teams eager to get their hands on the silverware.
