It has been observed that the Congo virus is spreading rapidly in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as at least 18 new cases were reported in KP only.
As per the details, as many as 18 new cases of Congo virus and Dengue fever have been reported so far in five districts of KP including the capital of the province, Peshawar.

The details further said that at least four patients with positive tests were admitted at the Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar.
Congo fever is a tick-borne viral disease which is mainly transferred from pets to humans. The symptoms of this viral disease include flu, fever, urine with blood, vomiting, and bleeding from the nose.
The second viral disease, dengue fever is transmitted by the Aedes mosquitoes. Dengue fever is a global public health concern. It is pertinent to mention here that currently there is no vaccine available in Pakistan for the dengue virus, which has killed an estimated 20,000 people each year.
According to the details shared by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Dengue virus infects up to 100 million people across the world.
