According to the details, as many as 16 people have lost their lives during the period of six days due to monsoon rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The above figure was mention in a report published by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) which was released on Tuesday.

The report by the provincial department further mentioned that 30 people have sustained injuries in incidents related to monsoon rains so far. On the other hand, 12 houses have also been completely demolished due to rain-related mishaps, the report claims.
The authorities of the PDMA have directed the local residents of the province to take the precautionary measures during the season of monsoon.
In the report published on 29 July, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) held the concerned departments responsible for the loss of human lives, houses and other infrastructure in Mansehra due to land sliding. The report further revealed that the weather advisory was completely ignored.
In its report, PDMA further told that the connecting roads to Naran and other nearest areas have been blocked which caused stranding a huge number of tourists in the beautiful valley.
