PTCL introduced a PTCL Summit Management Trainee Programme couple of months ago. PTCL HR team visited many educational institutions all around the country to aware youngsters about this program. The team conducted many sessions in around 26 universities. The Management Trainee Programme was open for all young university students.
“Climb the Summit” the initiative by PTCL will this year graduate 3rd Batch of Summit Management Trainee Programme.
Now PTCL has 150 Summiteers on board for its program “Climb the Summit”. The selected candidates were welcomed in a ceremony held at PTCL Headquarters in Islamabad.
Dr. Daniel Ritz, President, and CEO, PTCL spoke to the youngsters and said, “PTCL’s diverse services are spread across Pakistan and are a source of national connectivity because they touch the life of every Pakistani in one way or the other. PTCL is making all efforts to improve the life of every household across the country and that was a testament to the high standards it had set for itself.”
Chief HR Officer Syed Mazhar Hussain said on the occasion “PTCL is always working towards developing the employees. The basic objective of the Summit program was to attract top talent for PTCL and then the development of young individuals on the basis of their competence.”
16,000 candidates applied out of which 150 were selected from around the country. They will be then sent to Haripur Training & Development Academy of PTCL. For one and a half month, the selected youngsters would be trained for future opportunities and challenging posts at PTCL.
