According to the statement issued by the Health Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Twitter, as many as 15 people have tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the province.
Taimur Jhagra on Monday said that this is the first time that the patients from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been diagnosed with a deadly virus that has already affected as many as 106 people across the country.
The provincial minister said that at least 19 people underwent the test and out of which 15 of them have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. “All of them have returned after spending time at Taftan’s quarantine facility,” he added.
Earlier today, CM KP Mahmood Khan has said that the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and people are jointly struggling to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus in the province.
On the other hand, the authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced to suspend the issuance of visas to the Pakistan nationals for an indefinite period due to the fear of the spread of the deadly virus COVID-19.
