12-top Pakistani textile firms displayed their products at the Texworld, Paris. The Texworld is a bi-annual International textile exhibition. The Pakistani companies received a positive response.
Moin Ul Haque—the Pakistan’s ambassador to France paid a visit to the Pakistan Pavilion at the exhibition, which was scheduled from the 17th until the 20th of September and applauded the representatives of the many different participating companies for displaying a wide variety of quality textile and leather products, as per a press release from the Pakistan embassy in Paris.
The Ambassador observed with great satisfaction that the exports of Pakistan to France were on a rising trend since the launch of the economic diplomacy which was started by the Embassy in 2016.
He said that the total bilateral trade was US$1.58 billion in the year 2017 in comparison to US$1.476 billion in the year 2016.

He said that the data received for the first months of 2018 depicts an eight per cent rise in the bilateral trade, which he referred to as a welcoming trend.

- Master Textile
These textile companies founded their theme based customized pavilions which were a great source of attraction for potential buyers.
The Texworld is held twice each year and is a famous trade exhibition especially for the professionals from the textile and fashion industry. It is an efficient and worthy gateway to the European market for international textile manufacturers.
Each year, a number of Pakistani textile firms take part in the fair with the assistance of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
