10-kilogram drugs seized by the ANF officials in Rawalpindi

The claims were made by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Wednesday that it has seized more than 10-kilogram heroin and detained two drug peddlers in Rawalpindi.

As per the details, two suspects were taken into the custody by the officials of the ANF during a raid near motorway toll plaza and recovered 10-kilogram heroin from the car.

A case has been filed against the arrested drug peddlers and they have also been shifted to unidentified places for further investigation.

In another incident related to this, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday detained as many as four drug peddlers and recovered more than 8-kilogram heroin from them in Mianwali.

Earlier on September 19, during the countrywide operations, the officials of ANF have seized 421-kilogram narcotics and almost 18 culprits have been taken into the custody including three women.

According to the statement issued by the ANF, eight vehicles being used for drug smuggling have also been seized. The narcotics seized by the ANF officials are valuing 653 million rupees internationally.

The statement further claimed that seized drugs comprised of 374 Kg Hashish, 26.6 Kg Opium, 10.6 Kg Heroin, 435 bottles of Local Wine, 112 Tins Beer and others.
