As per the government notification announced recently all the academic institutions including the schools in Sindh would remain off from 22nd December to 31st December for winter holidays.
As per the notification released by the Sindh government, the educational institutes would be opening again on the 1st of January 2018 that is Monday, after completing a ten-day break.
The holiday schedule is to be followed both by the public and private sector schools’ administration.

The vacations have been announced after seeing the decreasing temperature and frosty cold weather throughout the province, and as the schools and educational institutes are devoid of any heating arrangements for beating the chilly weather conditions, it was the best decision to take.
Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan governments have not yet made any official announcement relating the winter vacations, they would soon be making it.
Meanwhile, it has been forecasted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) that throughout the country the weather would remain cold and dry for the next twenty-four hours.
The winter spell has intensified across the nation and people have been forced to wear warm clothes to combat the chilling weather conditions.
The Met department has predicted that the cold weather would further be intensifying and has predicted strong winds, slight snow falls and light wintry showers over the hills in the areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twenty-four hours.
